In Chien-Wen Lin’s work, the technique of collage is often applied to juxtapose and restructure the people and the scenery he observes in his daily life. “Photography is simply a time biopsy”, so to speak, is the concept he’s been engaged to experiment with. It’s how the images from different time and space can be revealed as a new ‘fact’ and also challenge the intuition we received from the images in our imagination.
